DNC2RNC was a 258 mile march from the Democratic National Convention in Boston to the Republican National Convention in New York City organized by the group "Democracy Uprising!". The protest covered approximately 10 miles a day for the 30 days in between the conventions, with several days allocated for community work and rest. Food was provided by "The Seeds of Peace" bio-diesel kitchen and housing was provided by various benefactors along the route. <br />

The march arrived peacefully in New York City on August 26th although there was a heavy police presence at its press conference in Columbus Square and its subsequent march to Union Square.
