"What made me come here was the forthrightness of it and the mass mobilization- I've never seen this many people congregating around something that felt really important. Asking for a change and recognizing that the system we live in now does not suit the majority of us. I think what's interesting about the movement now is that its not about making declarative statements and assuming that we all know the answer but its asking people to engage in a process that's about creating a new world.

I keep going back to this idea of being an engaged citizen or what it's like to occupy our lives more fully so I would hope that anything that comes out of this experience resonates on a daily basis with people beyond the borders of the camp. If people actually participate in their lives and participate in their communities then the answers will follow. I'm very curious at how this space scales and I don't know about that and I think that a lot of revolutions don't know about that. When you reach this tipping point and you're asked to create structures that reflect this utopian space that we've created, this temporary autonomous zone, how does that actually continue on beyond actually being temporary? That's tricky and I don't have the answer for that."
